Think we'll start out this Friday with some good old fashioned Euchre playing. Meet at the clubhouse around 7 p.m. We'll turn on the heaters, supposed to get cold. Board games available as well. Bring your cooler and snacks. Just a nice get together for the start of the camping season.
Lots going on in the area if you're looking for something to do. There is a "Spring Wing Fling" in Cascade on Saturday the 14th. Featuring wing tasting and brew tasting from local breweries. Just their 2nd year I believe. Bring a lawn chair. Admission is $5.00. The band 5th Fret is playing, this lasts from 4 until 7You'll be done in time to light that campfire back here, or have the kids watch a movie in the clubhouse at 7:30. Popcorn free of charge.
If you plan on hiking in the woods, please leave the trails clean, and it would sure help if you pick up anything someone might have left on the trail. This time of year it is still visible before all the grass grows up too tall. We do appreciate it.
I think this will be the last cold weekend and then its on! Bring it summer! Maybe I can finally get the flower beds planted and the containers in the campground.
